My Youngest Photography Student

Isn’t she adorable? I’ve been taking pictures of this awesome girl since she was a baby. Recently, she and her brother have become increasingly interested in my camera gear each time I pull it out. I decided to dig out my old Canon Rebel XSi (its a good deal smaller than my Canon 7D, and easier for kid-sized hands) and 50mm f/1.8 lens and start teaching her a bit about photography.
We went on a short walk in Mission Trails Park and had a great time…until nature got a little too close. It turns out she is just as fond of nature as I am. Its beautiful, but we don’t want it touching us!! It was a warm day, and that brought out the bugs…and the rustling of the bushes (which was probably just lizards scurrying through, but sounded a little too much like rattlesnakes) got the better of our imaginations.
We had a lot of fun and she did GREAT with the camera! I can’t wait to take her out for another photowalk.
