Tripod Police | Seaport Village | San Diego, CA

Tonight I had my first encounter with the tripod police!
I knew it was coming. I’ve been carrying (and using) my tripod more and more in my photography so it was only a matter of time before someone told me I wasn’t allowed in a certain location. Today, that location was Seaport Village.
On the up side I lucked out and the security guard who approached me was very nice. He even let me finish the HDR series I was in the middle of shooting!! He stuck around so his manager (who he said was not very nice – and those weren’t the words he used) wouldn’t harass me. I guess the other guy has a habit of grabbing at tripods – that would make me VERY angry! I’m so very glad that didn’t happen!!
So, thanks to the nice security guard I was able to capture this:
I have a lot more photos from my evening at Seaport Village to go through. The sunset & light were amazing! I’ll share more throughout the next week as I process them.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
