Thirty Days of Thanksgiving | Day 6

This photo was captured during a California Photo Festival Class focusing on composition with Rick Sammon.  I chose to create an HDR (high dynamic range) image comprised of six frames for this scene because I wanted to capture the drama of the stormy sky and the detail of the woodwork under the pier.

Today I am thankful for:

  • The right to vote – regardless of what side of the political aisle you sit on, please exercise your right to vote and let the government hear your voice.
  • Friendship – I’m incredibly blessed in the friend department. There are a small handful of people in my life that are always there for me and accept me as I am and love me for it. They are excited when good things happen to me, they let me vent when I’ve had a bad day, they listen and offer support when I get myself into difficult situations, and they smack me upside the head when I do or say something stupid. You guys know who you are 🙂 I love you! I don’t know what I’d do without you.

What are you thankful for today?
