A few days ago Les & I spent a relaxing evening watching the sun set and waves crash on the rocks in La Jolla. On this particular stretch of the coast there are some very unique rock formations. The challenge is to find the right perspective to capture them in a captivating composition. These are my favorites, so far…I’ll definitely be going back and working more with this location to capture more surreal seascapes.

All of the surreal seascapes above were captured with my Induro AKB1 tripod mounted Canon 7D and Canon 24-105 L lens and processed with Lightroom. Black and white conversions were done in Nik Silver Efex Pro. In photos 2 and 3 I also used my B+W 10-stop Neutral Density Filter.
