Streetcar & The Church of St. Nicholas | Prague | Czech Republic
I like to photograph Streetcars
To me, they convey the energy of a city. The backdrop can speak to the past (as in the photo below with The Church of St. Nicholas in the background) or hope for the future (like the futuristic lines and curves of the Harbor Drive Pedestrian Bridge in San Diego). However, it doesn’t matter if it is reminiscent of the past or harkening toward the future; they each tell a story of the city and the people who live there.
This photo was captured in 2010 on my birthday trip to Prague.
I took a bit of time to reprocess this photo using the NEW OnOne Perfect Photo Suite 9 and I’m quite happy with the result! After minor adjustments in Lightroom I made the black and white conversion in OnOne Perfect B&W and then added a vignette and lens blur in OnOne Perfect Effects.
