Street Musicians | Balboa Park | San Diego, CA

Sometimes its such a beautiful day you just have to go out and play – so that is what I did yesterday afternoon. I took my camera over to Balboa Park, put my just-for-fun Lensbaby on my camera, and went for a walk. The park was crowded. I think everyone needed a day in the sunshine after the rain we’ve had for the past few days. With the crowds come the vendors, the do-gooders with a cause, and the street musicians.
I focused on the music. I love the surreal effect of the Lensbaby – how its selective focus blurs the edges of the frame.
Each of these photos was captured with my Canon EOS 7D and Lensbaby Composer
and processed in Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4
then converted to black & white in Nik Silver Efex Pro 2.
