Soaking Wet

This week my local camera club, Darkroomers, held a photo challenge/competition. The theme was “Soaking Wet”. I entered these two photos:

Soaking Wet | Fountain in Balboa Park | San Diego, CA
Captured on a meandering walk through Balboa Park with my Canon 7D and 50mm f/1.8 lens & processed in Lightroom.

Soaking Wet | Raindrops on Sunroof Window
Captured with my trusty iPhone 5 through the sunroof of my car, processed with Lightroom Mobile

I’m not sure how well my entries did in competition (results haven’t been released yet), but the exercise of shooting for a theme was fun!

Our next theme is Urban Decay…what shall I photograph?
