Santa Barbara Snapshots

Last month I had the opportunity to spend a night in Santa Barbara. Its a place I rarely stop, but I drive through often to and from my parents’ house in San Luis Obispo.
My mom and I decided to take a getaway to kick off my birthday season in early September to see Josh Groban in concert at the Santa Barbara Bowl. Seeing Josh Groban in concert has been on my bucket list for a long time and seeing him perform in the open-air amphitheater in Santa Barbara was absolutely magical! Check out Josh Groban’s music here.
We arrived in town mid-afternoon and spent a couple of hours walking along the waterfront…which happened to be just a couple of blocks from The Eagle Inn, our lodging for the evening (highly recommended!). After our walk we sat down to an early dinner at Toma. The food was absolutely exquisite!
Below are a few of my snapshots from that afternoon. I was enamored by the colors and reflections the harbor had to offer.
I really should take the time to stop in Santa Barbara more often. It is an exceptionally lovely town with a lot to offer!

I drove down to VA Beach for the Neptune Festival mainly to listen to the Rondels play on a 17th street stage. I just took photos of people on the boardwalk, beach and stopped at Fort Monroe for some sunset photos prior to driving back to Richmond. I’m looking to spending more time on my picture taking. But I have a bunch of photos I took about 3 years ago for a graduation party. I was asked to do this due and agreed. I messed up the entire take. One mistake I put them on my work computer. No one expects to get the photos now. I need to make amends.
Can you help?
Love the black and white.
Hi Pat – Glad you enjoyed the B&W image! Sorry to hear that there are problems with your graduation party images. Is the computer with the images no longer in your possession? How can I help?
