Rosemont Vineyards | LaCrosse, VA

A girls trip was just what I needed.
After being cooped up in the house (it has been too darn hot to do anything outside) I jumped at the opportunity when a friend called and invited me on a day trip to visit a winery. We drove about two hours west of the Hampton Roads area to Rosemont Vineyards.
Rosemont Vineyards was worth the drive.
Although it was still warm outside, it wasn’t as stifling as it has been. The location was lovely with rolling hills of vineyards and puffy clouds decorating the blue sky. Plus the tasting room had good A/C!
We tasted the wines (14, I think!!) and then bought a bottle of the Cabernet Franc (my favorite of the Rosemont wines), a baguette, and a small round of gouda to enjoy in their sitting room.
Time with friends, a bottle of wine, tasty snacks…perfection.
