Rambling Around Barrio Logan

Barrio Logan is one of the most colorful neighborhoods in San Diego. At the center of the neighborhood, you’ll find Chicano Park – an area underneath freeway overpasses that have been painted with vibrant murals.
Until recently, I hadn’t done more than drive through the neighborhood. It always seemed like a cool area to explore, I just hadn’t done it. So when one of my aunts put out the idea to go for a walk around the area, I jumped at the opportunity.
Here are a few of my favorite photos from our rambles…

It was great to be out with my camera. I don’t do that enough these days.
In case you’re wondering, all photos in this series were captured with my Canon EOS R6 + 24-105 RF f4/L lens (this camera/lens combo is AMAZING) and processed with Lightroom Classic, Aurora HDR, and Luminar AI.
