Looking toward San Diego | Coronado, CA

Earlier this week I shared a photo of the full moon, shot from the Ferry Landing on Coronado (see that post here). I wasn’t there to shoot the moon, but it certainly was a happy surprise! I was there to capture the view of the city as the sun went down and the city lights came on. The weather was gorgeous with a cool ocean breeze and a few high clouds, and there weren’t too many people (it was a Tuesday, but crowds are always possible in the summer).
I spent about four hours moving between different locations and capturing the changing mood of the city as the light grew dim. These are a few of my favorites:
