Today I am thankful for:
- An unplanned technology break
I accidently left my phone at home when I headed out to run a few errands. When I realized my phone wasn’t in my purse I admit I felt just a bit panicky and considering running back home to get it.
Instead, I embraced a few moments of quiet time at the car wash, had a short but nice conversation with an elderly gent who was also waiting for his car, and then proceeded to get the rest of my errands completed WITHOUT feeling the need to compulsively glance at my phone.
I admit, while I initially missed having my phone with me, the world did, in fact, keep spinning. And perhaps, I was a bit more present in the moment, which is probably a good thing.
What are you thankful for today?
