Letters From the Past | Antique Typewriter

Last weekend I joined my local camera club for an outing at an antique mall. The shop graciously allowed us access, tripods and all, for a bit of macro fun. It was full to the brim of forgotten and discarded treasures.

An antique typewriter caught my eye…
One of the many pieces that caught my interest was an antique typewriter. It was quite dusty, and a few of they keys appeared to be broken – and yet I found beautiful. I wonder what stories it has written…
Love letters? The great American novel? Business correspondence? Homework?
We’ll never know for sure, but this dusty old typewriter makes my imagination fly.
The photo above was captured with my tripod mounted Canon 7D and 60mm Macro lens. Processing was done in Lightroom and On1 Photo RAW.
I love photographing antique treasures!
