Another Delightful Day In Balboa Park

Last weekend I was walking through Balboa Park, one of my favorite places in San Diego. I’ve been there more times that I can count and because it is so familiar it take specific intention to slow down and absorb the details.

It is worth the effort though, because no matter how many times I visit, I always see something new, or at the very least see something familiar from a new perspective.

On this particular visit I was there to participate in a photography scavenger hunt. While my group found very few of the items on our list (I thought I knew the park well) I did have fun exploring with my camera and taking time to examine the mosaics, facades, and other intricate details of the park.

The photos below don’t have anything to do with the scavenger hunt…just random things that caught my eye whilst out and about. I hope you enjoy the them!
