Castello di Amorosa | Napa Valley | Calistoga, CA {Part 2}

I saved the best for last!

Spending nearly four hours wandering the caves of the Castello di Amorosa was the highlight of my vacation! It made this photo geek’s heart happy to set up my tripod and take long exposure after long exposure inside the dimly lit caves of a castle/winery. I’ve taken my time processing these photos – which is why I’m just now (nearly two weeks home from vacation) finally sharing them.

I’m really thrilled with how these photographs turned out! I can’t wait to see them as prints (hint, hint – prints, note cards, etc. make great gifts!)

If you find yourself in the Napa Valley, be sure to visit the Castello di Amorosa. It has something for everyone (even grape juice on the kids’ tour!). Did I mention that their wines are spectacular, too?

Be sure to check out Photomatix Pro for processing HDRs (use coupon code “angandrieux” for 15% off!) and the amazing plug-ins from MacphunIntensify ProFocus Pro, and the brand new Tonality Pro (use coupon code “angandrieux” for 10% off!).
