Boulder Bay | Big Bear Lake, CA | Long Exposure

Above you’ll see another one of my favorite shots from Big Bear Lake, taken overlooking Boulder Bay. It was captured with my Induro Tripod mounted Canon 7D and 24-105 lens and B+W Neutral Density filter. I used the filter to decrease the amount of light entering the camera, allowing me to make this 20 second exposure (at f/11). Processing was done exclusively in Lightroom 5.

Today I am thankful for:

  • Positive comments on my blog – I love getting feedback and knowing that the work I do and what I write is meaningful.
  • Time with friends
  • A quiet evening at home to catch up on a few things around the house
