A Rainy Day in Harmony

Harmony, CA – Population 18
One of the most charming wide spots in the road is Harmony, California. This tiny town, founded in 1869 around dairy farms and a creamery, now features a couple of art galleries and even a winery!
On my most recent visit the weather was dreary and wet… but that didn’t stop me from taking a few photos.
I even managed to snag a photo of “The Heart of Harmony” without cars parked in front of it! (That changed about 30 seconds after I captured this photo.)

On the surrounding hillsides, you’ll often see happy California cows grazing. They is also an amusing public art display of cows in the town.

I peeked into the back of the pottery gallery and spotted these super organized cardboard boxes. I thought they looked cool!

Harmony is one of my favorite spots to visit on the Central Coast. This tiny enclave has my heart!
All photos above were captured handheld with my Canon 6D and 16-35mm f/4 L lens.
