Have you ever considered working with a photography coach?
If you are like me, and learn best in a one-on-one environment, a photography coach can help you take your skills to the next level. I’ve attended workshops, big and small, and have hired educators to work with me individually. While both ways of learning are a lot of fun (and very valuable), I find that I get far more out of a personalized session than a group presentation.
No matter where you are in your photographic journey, a photography coach can help you grown as a photographer and take your skills to the next level.
A photography coach can help with:
1. Constructive Critique
A photography coach can identify the strengths and weaknesses of a photograph and offer advice on how to improve future shots. They can also offer advice on processing (or reprocessing) to improve an image and help it reflect your artistic vision.
2. Finding The Right Tool for the Job
From choosing your camera to picking the right software – the options can be overwhelming. A photography coach will be familiar with several cameras and post-processing tools and can help you choose the one(s) that best fit your shooting and editing style.
3. Streamlining Your Workflow
You’ve pressed the shutter. Now what? A photography coach can walk you through the process of importing, organizing, and backing up your photographs. They’ll also teach you how to use post-processing tools to make your photos shine. Once finished, your coach can help you prepare your photo for print or online sharing.
