23 Years. Never Forget.

2977 Lives lost.

I’ll never forget turning on the news before I left for work and seeing the first tower fall.

I’ll never forget crowding around a tv in a co-workers office and watching the second tower fall, and another hitting the Pentagon.

I’ll never forget my office building being evacuated because we were across the street from a federal building.

I will never forget our first responders who gave their lives.

Last October (2023), I had the opportunity to visit the 9/11 memorial in New York City. The last time I had stood on this spot was in August of 2002, and the rubble was still being cleared. This time, while so drastically different, was still so very sobering.

It is still very sobering. Those that witnessed it around the globe were stunned as we all were. Always remember.
